Handbuilt stoneware vessel mounted on a block of Cararra marble.  The small lid is removeable and the vessel can be used with water.  The textured surface is finished with layers of glazes, underglazes and copper lustre. Approximately 36cm tall including the base. This vessel is part of a series of "Worlds Within Worlds" sculptures inspired by the erosion and transformation of rock formations of the Jurassic coast.
